The root of a verb is Imperative Mood in Turkish as in English. Some Examples;
- yap (do / make)
- aç (open)
- uyu (sleep)
- bak (look)
- gör (see)
- git (go)
- gel (come)
- ye (eat)
- iç (drink)
- de (say)
Negative suffix is -ma/-me;
- yapma (don't do)
- açma (don't open)
- uyuma (don't sleep)
- bakma (don't look)
- görme (don't see)
- gitme (don't go)
- gelme (don't come)
- yeme (don't eat)
- içme (don't drink)
- deme (don't say)
